Disabled and Wheelchair Access
Both the Grabbeplatz and the K21 Ständehaus are disabled and wheelchair accessible.
Schmela Haus is due to architectonical reasons not disabled and wheelchair accessible.
Visitors who have difficulties walking or standing may borrow a wheelchair or folding chair from the cloak room for the duration of their visits to the Kunstsammlung (if possible after pre-registration with our visitors’ service).
Those escorting blind and vision-disabled individuals pay no admission charge. Seeing eye dogs may be taken into exhibition galleries.
For visitors who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, the Kunstsammlung offers guided tours in sign language.
Seriously disabled visitors will get an immediate entrance in case of queue or wainting times.
